This winter, The Landing opens the doors to its stunning new winery. We invite members of the public to discover the beauty and spirit of one of New Zealand’s most magical places for the first time.
On the 2.5-hour Taste of The Landing experience, guests travel by private boat to the calm waters of Wairoa Bay. After a tour of the vineyard set among native bush where kiwi roam wild, guests head to the onsite state-of-the-art winery for a guided tasting of five of the label’s wines. A favourite glass can be chosen to enjoy along with a gourmet grazing platter prepared by our chef before guests return by boat to their departure point.
For those wanting a longer experience, The Cellar Door Lunch is a leisurely 4.5-hour escape. After arriving by The Landing’s private boat, guests explore the vineyard, sites of historic interest and native forest walking trails, and enjoy a guided tasting of seven wines and a tour of the barrel room at The Landing’s winery. Alongside a beautiful two-course lunch prepared by the chef, guests can enjoy two complimentary glasses of wine while overlooking spectacular views of the landscape, before returning to their departure point by boat.
